I't s 9AM, I am sick with
a mysterious and bothersome illness, and I've spent all morning
fixing the broken links on the Ludic Log. I need to clean house,
which probably won't happen because I feel like sleeping for
27 hours. And yet I still manage to give you, in lieu
of an actual entry, a brand-new plate of sausage
and some lists
besides! Fall down on your knees and thank me, devoted fans.
For those of you wondering
where the 2003 Crappys are, they'll be posted a week from today;
the Sodium Mononitrate Memorial Food Additive Pavilion was booked
by a teenage hula-hoop/self-esteem pageant, so we had to reschedule.
For those of you wondering what the 2003 Crappys are,
the answer is: once a year, the Ludic Log awards a lovely gold
statuette to the lamest, most useless, awful, pointless, or stupid
consumer food item of the year in a special ceremony. You can
