I recently had the opportunity
to appear on Under Surveillance with Kevin Fullam, a show
on Chicago's excellent community radio station WLUW 88.7FM about
pop culture and its influence on politics. We discussed war movies
for a half and hour in a very enjoyable conversation. In case
you missed the show, you can listen to an mp3 of the show here
(approx. 34MB), and please do listen to future editions of the
program -- it's on Tuesday mornings at 10AM, and non-Chicagoans
can hear it live via WLUW's website here.
Thanks for listening, and much thanks to Kevin for the opportunity
and Allison for setting it up.
TODAY'S DRIFTWOOD: "Bread is the king of the table and
all else is merely the court that surrounds the king. The countries
are the soup, the meat, the vegetables, the salad...but bread
is the king." (Louis Bromfield)
