LUDIC LOG
10.07.2004

The Ludic Log will be on a short hiatus, probably until Wednesday of next week or so, as its author is appearing at the 215 Festival in Philadelphia.  Come see me if you can; details on the site or by following the link over there to your left.  I'd like to thank the people whose good graces got me there:  Whitney Pastorek, on behalf of whose Pindeldyboz publication I'll be appearing; Shauna McKenna, who is the web editor of Pindeldyboz, the editor of Moonshinestill, a voice of great confidence and encouragement to me, and besides all that the best gal a fella could wish for; Manning Leonard Krull, who's kind enough to offer to put me up during my stay in Phila; and, of course, Mary Richardson Graham, who had the good grace to allow me to appear after only several months of whining, and whose hard work makes the 215 Festival possible.  Thanks to all; I hope I do right by you.

To readers of this site:  I'll be back Tuesday and I'll get entries up for the days I missed as soon as is feasible.  Have a lovely weekend!

TODAY'S DRIFTWOOD:  "While there is a chance of the world getting through its troubles, I hold that a reasonable man has to behave as though he were sure of it.  If at the end your cheerfulness is not justified, at any rate you will have been cheerful." (H.G. Wells)
