Leonard is on vacation until New Year's Eve. Please enjoy these guest columns until his return; the people who wrote them are the finest on earth.

Today's guest column is written by Leonard, and illustrated by Manning Krull (main page and pages 4, 9 and 12), Jon Morris (pages 3, 7, 11 and 13), Austin Swinburn (pages 2, 6 and 8), Maureen Fay (pages 5, 10 and 14), and Cori Faiella (page 1 & colors on pages 5 & 10). MAN! NICE WORK EVERYBODY!

LUDIC LOG

12.24.2003

Oh, boy. Do we have a treat for you, beloved readers. I have written, for your amusement and the edification and enjoyment of any children you have lying around, a Christmas story. It is entitled "The Christmassiest Elf". And, what's more, it has been beautifully illustrated by a supremely talented quintet of artists: Mr. Manning Krull, Mr. Jon Morris, Mr. Austin Swinburn, Ms. Maureen Fay, and Ms. Cori Faiella, to whom I am infinitely indebted.

Please click on the picture below to read this humble but happy holiday story, and have a very merry Christmas.
