Now, elves on the TV and movies that we see ­
One looks pretty much like another.
Those silly red snow hats, those pointy shoes (no spats),
They might as well all just be brothers!

But hark and forsooth now ­ I tell you the truth now:
The elves are as different as we are.
Now, some elves are taller and some elves are smaller
Some soft and some tougher than rebar.

And some elves are thin types and some elves wear pinstripes
And some elves are all polka-dotty
Some elves are Caucasian and some elves are Asian
And some of those elves know karate!
